The Facility Manager is primarily responsible for all the repairs and technical operations of the amusement arcade games. Their job is to oversee, manage, and maintain mechanical/electronic amusement arcade equipment.
The Facility Manager is also responsible for the repairs, technical operations, and sanitation of facility equipment at the highest level of operating proficiency. In addition, the Facility Manager assists with planning and budgeting for repairs/upgrades, and performs administrative, logistic, or other duties as assigned. Sports Challenge (Spo-Cha) equipment for locations that applies only.

Essential Duties:
General:
- Provides tasks to team appropriately depending on the condition of the facility including Bowling, Arcade, and Spo-cha machines.
- Follows up to complete any assigned work.
- Ensures that bowling equipment and amusement arcade games are being serviced and maintained at the highest level of operating proficiency.
- Identify and suggest repairs/replacements of malfunctioning equipment to the General or Sr. General Manager for final approval as appropriate.
- Trains other mechanics in safety procedures and standards of operation for all equipment, building maintenance, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensures equipment operational compliance with appropriate laws and policies to include OSHA safety practices and procedures.
- Responds to error calls for any bowling, spo-cha, or amusement arcade issues.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
- Conducts inventory on all facility equipment including Bowling, Amusement, and Spo-cha related items.
- Keeps a clean and organized workshop.
Amusement (Arcade):
- Manages the installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and electronic issues in arcade machines.
- Manages the transportation of machines and ensures machines are assembled using appropriate tools.
- Conducts maintenance and repairs on arcade machines, and other general facility areas.
- Must successfully complete the mechanic training programs designed for their position.
Facility:
- Obtains bids for regular and emergency repairs/maintenance of the facility in accordance with the budget proposal.
- Monitors and schedules regular maintenance of HVAC system, roof, plumbing system, electrical system, life/safety, and other building systems.
- Performs other Facility maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to readily identify the most common problem with components such as controls and audio systems.
Non-Essential Duties:
- Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to general management for solutions.
- Maintains good communication with all employees and outside contacts.
- Comply and maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Qualifications:
- Facilities Managers must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills to include high integrity and respect for everyone.
- The Facilities Manager must demonstrate solid communication, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity (thought, ethnicity, gender, etc.).
Education and/or Experience:
Two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle, and feel, and reach objects. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
