Job Description:
Vaco's client is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable AR/Collections Specialist to join their Santa Ana team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing accounts receivable and collections processes. While knowledge of the construction industry is a plus, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and collections processes, ensuring timely payments and addressing overdue accounts
- Conduct credit reviews and maintain compliance with company policies
- Handle billing and invoicing functions, with potential to expand into additional billing responsibilities
- Enter and manage data, including maintaining accurate paper and digital records
- Identify, investigate, and resolve billing issues, collaborating with internal teams as necessary
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and manage stressful situations effectively
- Exhibit a problem-solving mindset with the ability to pivot quickly and efficiently
- Previous experience in AR, collections, or credit is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with effective time management and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and a creative, self-motivated approach to challenges
- Comfort with manual processes and paper records is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative personality

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
