AR/AP Specialist - Cummings Electrical

Typical Responsibilities:

• Verify, post, and record customer payments and transactions related to AR in Salesforce.
• Maintains and updates customer information, i.e. company name, address changes, bill to attentions, etc.. in Salesforce.
• Maintain AR aging report; track outstanding accounts, work with our Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to collect outstanding accounts, send account inquiries on past due invoices.
• Maintain a lien and notice list of accounts past due, create the notices and lien letters as directed by the Service Leadership Team (SLT).
• Attend monthly AR meetings with accounting and SAM’s.
• Ensure timely and accurate renewals of all state, city and county licenses held as well as tracking the continuing education.
• Process vendor invoices as they come in, ensuring the correct tax is applied to each invoice.
• Process and verify weekly timecards for employees.
• Assist purchasing agent with rental companies to rent and schedule equipment for use on construction sites.
• Assist purchasing agent with entering and processing purchase orders and receiving requests for electrical materials and hardware, determining best suited vendor, and issuing PO numbers.
• Assist purchasing agent track and request travel, per diem, and housing for employees.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of applicable experience
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Timberline, P-Vault, Bluebeam, Dropbox, and/or Salesforce a plus.
