About the Job
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, reliable, and hard working person to join our team as an Apprentice Automotive Technician. An Apprentice Automotive Technician will have a current A5 ASE Brake Certification, and at least (1) of any other current A1-A8 ASE. They will perform a variety of automotive repairs which range from basic preventative maintenance, warranty/recall repairs for specific manufacturers Enterprise is authorized to complete using OE factory diagnostic equipment and software, and various other mechanical repairs. This position also allows the Tech to work besides other certified ASE Techs to help them work towards the goal of becoming a certified ASE Master Tech. This position is primarily based at the Sky Harbor Airport Service Center located at the Sky Harbor Airport Vehicle Rental Facility. Depending on workflow, candidate could potentially work some shifts each week at the Enterprise Mobility Service Center on our Remarketing Lot, located at 1800 W Watkins St. (4 miles from Sky Harbor), where tools would be provided.

The position is a Full Time position (40 hours per week)
Apart from religious observation, must be available to work the following schedule(s):
1st Shift:
Sunday - Wednesday 6:00am - 4:30pm
Wednesday – Saturday 6:00am - 4:30pm
1st shift pays $24.00 / hour, 2nd shift pays $25.00/hour with 1 year of experience*, a current A5 ASE Brake Certification, and any other current A1-A8 ASE. PLUS an extra $.50/ hour for any additional current A1, A2, A4-A9, L1, L3, L4 ASE certifications!
*Accepted experience is performing Mechanical Automotive Repairs, in a professional environment, within the last 5 years.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Automotive Technician. The Apprentice Automotive Technician performs a variety of tasks including basic repairs, automotive parts removals/installs, as well as preventative maintenance on our auto rental fleet vehicles. We offer on the job training and a roadmap to continue obtaining A1-A8 ASE Certifications!
Responsibilities:- Perform basic automotive repairs, following established repair procedures, including the removal and installation of mechanical parts.
- Assist Automotive Technicians with vehicle diagnosis as needed
- Perform certain manufacturer recall repairs, as authorized by the manufacturer, and at discretion of Service Center management
- Access and credentials to a variety of OEM software’s and diagnostic tooling
- Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Repair and replace tires.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
- Maintain safe and clean work area.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year experience mechanical automotive repairs, in a professional environment, within the last 5 years
- A current A5 ASE Brake Certification and at least other current A1, A2, A4-A9, L1, L3, L4.
- Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform basic maintenance and repair responsibilities
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at- fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 year.
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 3 years (DUI/DWI)
- Must be willing to take and pass a drug test prior to employment offer
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future (e.g. H-1B Visa status)
