Position Description:
The Ultrasound Applications Specialist is responsible for providing and executing clinical education training, demonstration management and demonstration strategies. This position also has the responsibility of working with the production repair team on quality live testing all transducers within repair and sale to confirm transducers are meeting OEM specification. The Ultrasound Applications Specialist will facilitate evidence-based practice and support the customer experience and commercial teams from pre-sale through post implementation by providing effective outcome-based education and training solutions. Your efforts will impact our customer's ability to improve productivity, patient care and quality by optimizing their technical & clinical competencies, image quality, workflow, and protocol management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership during the sales process by demonstrating full range of Ultrasound products including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers.
- Develop and deliver product training to customers on equipment use both virtually and at customer equipment locations.
- Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies.
- Complete daily transducer quality live testing, includes transducer testing for portables, parts and system sales final QC testing.
- Support tradeshows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training.
- Assist with quote generation and warranty report review for transducers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and MXR Quality Systems requirements.

Requirements:
Education & Certifications & Experience
- High School Diploma and RDMS certification (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), Bachelors Degree preferred
- Skilled in 2D, Doppler and color flow imaging
- Experienced in 3D/4D (OB/GYN)
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience following certification with demonstrated skill in radiology general imaging, OB/GYN, vascular, MSK, Small Parts and echocardiography sonography.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% with overnight stays depending on geography for on-site training need
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or 13485 and FDA Quality System Regulation guidelines

- Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Office 365
- Experience using SalesForce
