Description
- Permanent position for a Chemical Engineer to act as an Applications Engineer for pollution control equipment and processes to help design, size, and specify solutions.
- Analyze and interpret customer process information based on RFQs and other customer supplied data, PFDs & drawings.
- Develop and design best in class solutions of equipment and systems to achieve customer objectives and remain in local, state and federal compliance.
- Outline and highlight any special areas in buyer specifications to Industry.
- Comply with buyer's requirements, and formulate and direct the execution of the associated proposals.
- Participate in trade shows, customer meetings and local technical seminars when required.
- Work with sales and engineering team in the research and gathering of information related to the preparation of equipment design details, costs and specifications, direct initial concepts and identify application specific challenges.
- Help develop new solutions and technology through R&D initiatives on a project basis.
- Participate in writing articles and presenting white papers, improving technical documentation and manuals.

Requirements
- BS Chemical Engineering REQUIRED.
- Prior Applications Engineer or Proposal Engineer track record in a similar role or chemical process involving air emissions, pollution control devices.
- Minimum 10 years relevant or applicable work experience, especially in pollution control equipment,
- and capital equipment design for industrial or chemical applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical contaminants, air flow fundamentals, equipment engineering, and related factors.
- Passion for Environmental concerns.
- Detail oriented, thorough and reliable performer who is a team player.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to sell up on proposals where necessary.
- Expert in MS Office applications, ChemCAD and other tools.
