The Applications Enginer III will provide technical expertise on company products to sales representatives in the selection and application of business unit products to fulfill specific field requirements. He or She will provide strategies on how to position the product to effectively compete in the marketplace. In addition, he or she will interact with customers to effectively demonstrate value of company product lines. As a level III Applications Engineer, he or she will be expected to provide thought leadership and direction within Marketing Applications organization.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


* Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquires regarding special applications, systems or pricing
* Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing
* Stay informed on new products and competitive models in the market place
* Communicate suggested modifications to the company’s products/services to meet customer requirements.
* Communicates and provides feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by current product line
* May write or provide input to assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field application
* Participate in product training of sales representatives and customers
* Provide leadership and direction within Marketing Applications organization
* Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Minimum Requirements:


* Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering or related technical field from four-year college or university
* Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:


* HVAC Industry Experience
