Applications Engineer - Nesco Resource, LLC

Duties:

• Generates standard proposals in response to inquiries and requests for bids.
• In partnership with Sales personnel, meets with customers as required to discuss proposals and to provide technical training, support and expertise.
• Analyzes customer needs to determine which system or unit best suits their requirements.
• Attend trade shows.
• Prepares and conducts sales seminars and training schools.
• Seeks out new applications for existing products and makes recommendations on the nature and scope of present and future product lines.

• Must be authorized to work within the U.S.
• BS from accredited institution (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred) or similar industrial discipline; and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 3+ years of mechanical application engineering experience in technical goods and services.
• 3+ years of hands-on related experience in manufacturing machinery and/or vibration analysis preferred.
• Travel up to 20% of the time, including some international travel.
• Strong PC skills: must be able to install software associated with vibration analysis programs.
• Must be mechanically and electrically inclined with knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, machine components and drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to respond promptly and skillfully to customer inquiries.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze and reason through on technical issues.
