Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a development team on a major project
- Provide status reports for development team activities
- Deploy and maintain applications/systems
- Participate in object oriented design and programming
- Gain familiarity with design patterns
- Use unit test tools including Junit and Spring Test
- Utilize web services consumer/provider
- Understand source/build/deploy management to help CM package projects
- Keep up to date with general internet security concepts/standards
- Predict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them
- Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
- Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
- Teach/mentor other developers on the team
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years team lead experience
- 5+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience
- 5+ years of experience working as a Java Developer
- Experience with Java (1.6, 1.7) including JEE6, Servlet 3.0 and JMS
- Experience with Spring Framework/suite (at least 3.0, 3.2.x) including Spring Batch, Spring MVC, and Sprint JMS
- Unix*/Linux*/Windows OS (*preferred)
- Unix shell scripting (e.g. bash, ksh)
- Apache projects: CXF, Tomcat, etc.
- SOAP
- RESTful Services
- JSON
- JQuery
- XML: XPATH, XSLT, XQUERY, XSD (Schema), etc.
- Java app servers: Websphere, JBOSS
- Build tools: Maven, Ant, Gradle
- General document management knowledge
- CMIS
- RabbitMQ / AMQP experience
- NoSQL DBs: MongoDB
- Experience working in an agile environment / steam
- Health care industry experience
