What You Will Do In Your Role:
You will be joining a team that is keeping us at the forefront of technology. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to work closely with the manufacturing team to collect requirements, develop forms, schedule user testing, resolved technical issues, and provide ongoing support and training to users.
Additional responsibilities in application development may be added as the intern’s level of competency increases.
This role will start out as a hybrid role then transition into home based. The individual should live in the Houston, TX area to be able to report to the site on a hybrid schedule and to be able to travel to various manufacturing locations as needed, likely once per Quarter.
Job Description
• Monitor TEAMS site for new development requests submitted.
• Create and configure new electronic forms.
• Update existing forms based on new user requirements.
• Contact users and plant site personnel for review and testing of developed forms, and to deliver training as needed.
• Engage in full build and correction cycles based on user feedback.
• Confirm completion of testing and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
• Monitor the usage of forms and sites, providing regular reports to the team.
• Escalate complex issues to the Digital Transformation Specialist as needed.
• Develop and maintain training documentation.
• Other related responsibilities as needed/identified.
Qualifications
What are we looking for you to be?
· Currently enrolled at an accredited university (Sophomore year), in a Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
· Cumulative average of 3.0 or higher, reflective of all college course work. Excited about application development and collaboration.
· Strong background in Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
