Seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join their 5 person team developing and supporting a very diverse set of software products. R

From an applications perspective this is a very diverse environment. Responsible for a wide array of services to their constituency. Given how diverse the environment is, the 5 person development team is forced to wear a lot of hats. They do everything from working with software vendors to customize applications (predominately their environment is Microsoft-based with .NET web apps, SQL Server databases, Javascript, Telerik and kendo for front end components, and Azure Dev Ops), to helping support the infrastructure that makes it all go (web applications firewalls, web services and Power Platform administration). The Dev Team also does Python Scripting, GIS Development and a whole host of other duties. A couple examples of projects slated for next year include moving the County Tax System to the cloud and creating a new Web portal to manage Sanitary Maintenance workflow.

The ideal candidate is a Web Applications Developer who has 3-5 years of experience in a similarly diverse, Microsoft-based environment performing a mix of customizing and maintaining apps as well as custom development work in Power Apps and Power Automate. One of the primary skills the County is looking for is the demonstrated ability to learn new software development tools and incorporate those into business solutions.

Working Hours are 8-5, M-F and requires someone to work on-site at least 2 days per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
