Application System Engineer - ApTask

Salary Range: $120K-$150K/Annum



Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:

• Completes of software installation, programming, debugging and testing of customer system
• Attends onsite project meetings
• Coordinates with the Lead Technician for onsite programming of systems
• Produces timely and detailed reports
• Builds positive relationships with clients

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, and Internet Explorer) and be familiar with various security systems operating software
• Security License (required by state of operation): Alarm Systems Installer
• Additional manufacture certifications for access control systems, communications systems, intrusion systems and surveillance systems as needed for products supported
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record

• Lenel Onguard, Software House, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon and other security manufacture certifications
