Job Summary:Position Title: Application Support Manager
Job Summary: Essen Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced eClinicalWorks Support Manager to join our dynamic IT Applications team. The eClinicalWorks Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and support of our eClinicalWorks software and related systems. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of eClinicalWorks to support our healthcare operations and deliver exceptional patient care. This role will collaborate with medical, billing, and operational leaders to standardize, streamline, and optimize clinical workflows to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
The Application Support Manager role primarily serves in the EMR Department to work in our Bronx Administrative office in New York. As an Application Support Manager, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the following areas: This is a hybrid role and requires candidate to be on site 4 days a week and 1day remote following IT department’s work from home policy
Responsibilities:
- Supporting and Maintaining Enterprise Clinical Applications including EMR
- IT Operations & Implementation
- Interdepartmental IT frameworks, processes, and procedures
- Growth & Expansion
Qualifications:
Education Desired:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science,
Business Administration, or a related field.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Strong leadership and team management abilities.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in application integration and interface management.
o Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security standards related to business
applications
· Key Competencies:
Application Management:
o Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of laboratory information systems (LIS),
DI interfaces, HR, and financial applications.
o Ensure applications are running smoothly, efficiently, and securely.
o Manage application updates, upgrades, and patches to ensure they meet current
business needs.
· Integration and Interfaces:
o Manage and maintain DI interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange between laboratory systems and other business applications.
o Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement application integrations and data interfaces.
· Project Management:
o Lead and manage projects related to the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of business applications.
o Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
o Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and address any issues.
· Business Process Improvement:
o Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
o Implement best practices and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
o Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new business processes and solutions.
· User Support and Training:
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
o Develop and deliver training programs and materials to ensure users are proficient in utilizing business applications.
o Maintain documentation for applications, including user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
· Vendor Management:
o Manage relationships with application vendors and service providers.
o Coordinate with vendors for support, maintenance, and enhancements.
o Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in the selection and negotiation process.
· Compliance and Security:
o Ensure applications comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
o Implement and monitor security measures to protect data and ensure privacy.
o Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
Salary: $70,000-$120,000
