Application Support/Maintenance Manager
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Duration: Full Time

Technical/Functional Skills:
· Looking for a profile that will be responsible for managing the Maintenance / Production Support of various Mainframe related applications.
· As Support Maintenance, he/she will be managing the delivery and point of contact for various business groups. He/She will have to work with IBM and join the severity call and drive those calls. Need to have experience in Vendor / Conflict management.
· Should have working knowledge in IBM Mainframe and strong knowhow in Batch and online processing. Exposure to COBOL, IMS, DB2, JCL, and IMS DB will be added advantage.
· Excellent communication.
· Good Team player.
· Should be able to handle multiple priority issue.
Experience Required:
· Working experience in IBM Z Mainframe
· Should understand JCL, COBOL, DB2 and IMS DC / DB
· Exposure to distributed system will be added advantage
· Exposure to Agile / Kanban
· Prior experience in SDM role will be an added advantage
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Work as a liaison between business contacts/customer Manager and Team
· Assign ticket/issues and track them to closure
· Coordinate Severity 1 calls with all stakeholders
· Help in resolving schedule and resource conflict
· Act as point of escalation for all issues and address them
· Help in implementation planning and execution
Creation of various Status report
Work with offshore lead/team
Coordinate calls with various business group
Participate in weekly status meeting with Client SMEs/offshore team members to discuss about the ongoing production issues/fixes/solution.
Generic Managerial Skills:
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
A proven track record of successfully managing Maintenance issues / tickets
Prior experience with Agile methodologies
