Summary:
Expectations of the role:
• Level II Producrion/Application Support Engineer - Experience in unix, shell scripting(command), Sql, Sybase/Db2,Java, Java Script.
• Have hands on experiencing in L1 and L2 support experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Good analyst
Specific Skills Required:
• Sybase /DB2. Basic Core Java debug skills.
Responsibilities
• Support and Maintenance Financial Trading/reporting applications
• Administration, Installation, upgrade, and monitoring of Applications & Tools
• Working on JIRA tickets raised by users for obtaining data from database, correcting data issues, uploading data files (Upstream data related to Client positions, Assets, Transactions, Client Fees & Various other Reference data).
• Incident detection, classification and logging in Ticketing Tool This task involves monitoring the mailbox and creating tickets using JIRA Tool
• Support Investigation and Diagnosis This task involves analysis of the tickets to identify the cause of the incident, issue analysis, code debugging and fix implementation.
• Work on mining data from reporting database and preparing reports requested by users.
• Fix issues related to Daily & Monthly bathes and make sure that there is no delay in making the data available to End users.
• Monitoring of Overnight batch Jobs in Autosys tool.
• Fix issues that arise during the batch processing & Issues identified by users while performing data quality checks.
• Perform Disaster Recovery (DR) tests to ensure system availability and functionality.
