Title: Oracle Developer
Location: Plano, TX
Pay rate: $60 - $65 (Per hour)
About the Role:
- We are looking for a Senior Oracle Developer with strong PL/SQL and Advanced SQL skills to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with ETL tools like Informatica, Agile methodologies, and a positive attitude towards learning and taking on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Design and implement ETL processes using SQL, ETL tools, and Linux shell scripting
- Collaborate with other development teams to manage interdependencies and maintain data quality
- Conduct performance tuning activities and data analysis
- Lead and develop complex Informatica PowerCenter ETL flows connecting to various databases
- Develop Oracle procedures, functions, and packages to support database applications
- Participate in estimating work, story refinement, and defining requirements
- Code solutions and unit test to deliver requirements per acceptance criteria
- Utilize multiple architectural components in design and development of client requirements
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL
- 6+ years of experience with Informatica or other ETL tools
- Understanding of Data Federations, Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Advanced Cloud concepts
- Experience automating ETL with job scheduling tools, preferably Autosys
- Experience working with large datasets using big data solutions like Hadoop and Spark is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and take full accountability for tasks
- Experience with Unix Shell Scripting and scheduler tools
Salary
60 - 65 /hour
