About The Role:
Title: Application Developer
Reports to: Director of IT
Location: Remote – (Preference MO/KS area. May have to work in the office as
needed.)
Status: Exempt, Full Time
Compensation: Salary based on experience with incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Responsibilities:
· Understand client/user requirements and how they translate in application features
· Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
· Design creative prototypes according to specifications
· Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
· Perform unit and integration testing before launch
· Conduct functional and non-functional testing
· Troubleshoot and debug applications
· Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
· Develop technical documents and guides to accurately represent application design and code
· Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
Accountabilities:
· Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT/Software field.
· Keep current with the latest technologies.
· Confers with users and IT personnel to develop new approaches or alternatives to ensure that user assistance is
being provided effectively and efficiently.
· Has an excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
Education & Knowledge
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of two years of experience in the field or a related field.
· Extensive experience with personal computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications, network, and Windows operating systems.
· Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
· In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools.
· Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Transact-SQL, and JavaScript.
· Experience in Visual Studio Professional versions 2012, 2017, 2019, 2022, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL
Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, MVC programming for web applications, Azure
DevOps, developer tools such as Progress/Telerik and DevExpress a plus.

Physical Requirements:
· Sitting for extended periods of time.
· Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools and to manage other
computer components.
· Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings.
· Lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects (40 lbs.), such as computers and peripherals.
· Walking, bending, and reaching intermittently.
· Ability to travel as needed to clients and multiple service center locations.
