Description

You will analyze system requirements and address any relevant problems. Perform standard troubleshooting to system, solutions to ensure high levels of performance and security. This person will be responsible for supporting applications and servers. He/she will join team and assist with the upgrade and conversion of servers to a new operating systems.. They will be analyzing applications and systems. They are responsible for maintaining applications and servers. take phone calls about issues, communicate to leadership team about status. There is an on-call 24/7 for one week at a time that happens once every three-four weeks. Other responsibilities include maintaining our core system for minimal down time, configuring systems for new assets to provide visibility and monitoring capabilities for both internal and external customers, and provide solutions to customer data inquires.

Required Minimum Qualifications: -

 Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Related Field Desired

 3 - 5 years of experience in a combination of the following areas:

o 2 years of understanding of server architectures, Operating Systems (Windows/LINUX/Unix).

o 2+ years identifying, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems using critical thinking and analytical skills in fast paced environment preferred.

o Understanding or project life cycles (Waterfall and Agile)

o Working knowledge of server operating systems and virtual environments

o Understand SAN and Database technologies (EMC/ Oracle , MS SQl) performance and communications

o Experience with network and file p1rotocols including HTTP, SFTP, XML, HTML, Modbus, REST, and SSH.

o Understanding of networking concepts ( firewalls, routers, switches)

o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Sharepoint

 Motivated individual, who can work independently and in a team

 Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This is a 12 hour shift with 12 hours off between shifts. They will work 3 days on and a few off. They are a part of a 24/7 rotation. Shift is 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00
