Join System One as an API Field Inspector supporting a major industrial client in the Parkersburg, WV region. Conduct inspections of mechanical and structural components on-site to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Inspect mechanical and structural components to identify and document any deficiencies.
Accurately read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematic layouts.
Utilize graphic instructions and visual aids to perform thorough inspections.
Recommend appropriate remedial measures for identified defects.
Apply extensive knowledge to tackle specialized and unique project challenges.
Plan and achieve inspection goals using experience and professional judgment.
Complete System One’s developed training modules effectively.
Interface directly with client representatives as necessary.
Utilize computer and tablet technology for reporting and documentation both in the office and in the field.
Travel within Indiana and to other states as required for project needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and client objectives.
Requirements
5+yrs of relevant inspection experience and/or field technician supervision.
API Certifications (API 570, API 653, and API 510)
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
Experience in shop welding, fabrication, or quality inspection in related fields is a plus.
Strong physical capability to perform job functions, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions.
Excellent visual and auditory abilities, including color vision and depth perception.
Proficient with computer and tablet use for office and field applications.
NDE Certifications and Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials are strongly preferred.
Recent civil/structural engineering graduates seeking practical field experience are encouraged to apply.
