API Architect
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: Full Time
Rate: DOE

Requirements:

Sound understanding of SOA/EAI/ESB concepts, SOA Governance, Event Driven Architecture, message based architectures, file sharing and exchange platforms, data virtualization and caching strategies, J2EE design patterns, API frameworks
Experience with multiple middleware technologies (Application Servers, BPMS, BRMS, ESB & Message Brokers), programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java/J2EE), databases (e.g. SQL-Server, Postgres, Cassandra etc.) and messaging solutions (e.g. Pulsar, Kafka)
Experience implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST)
Significant understanding of microservice patterns and concepts
Significant understanding of cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and Container Management software (Kubernetes, Mesos)

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
12+ years of professional information technology experience, including 3+ years of integration and architecture

Preferred Skills:

Previous Supply Chain or Logistics industry experience
Prior use of the following technologies:
MuleSoft, BigData (Cloudera/Spark/Impala), force.com
Experience working with Cloud APIs and vendors especially Saleforce.com & Workday
