APEX REGIONAL MANAGER - REPLACEMENT WINDOW COMPANY
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
Under the RVPs authority, this position has key leadership and manamgnet responsibility over multiple Branch locations and is responsible for the overall execution of the Branches including sales, operations, and installation functions. The Regional Manager is charged with running, and growing, the branch in the area of front end sales (bookings), revenue, and profitability in accordance with the Company Philosophy, Culture, and the policies and procedures of Apex and GDI. The Regional Manager is responsible for hiring, development, and disciplining of all employees and 1099s in the region.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTION:
1. Develop and maintian the branch's sales, installation, and profitability goals, objectives, and forecasts with the assistance and direction of them RVP. Strive to meet and exceed.
2. Ensure that the Apex JSP and SSP processes are consistnelty being followed
3. Work with Director of Sales developing to ensure JSPs and SSPs are being provided the hands on sales training needed to achieve KPIs.
4. Hire, train, and supervise branch Managing Seniors Partner, Junior Sales Partners, Senior Sales Partners, and sales staff in accordance with company guidelines. This includes riding auditing in-home appointmetns, riding with JSPs in the field, reviewing job costing, etc.
5. Support and drive the approparate recruiting initatives to achieve our JSP and SSP head count and customer conversation goals.
6. Oversee the operation of the Office and Installation Departments to evaluate the quality, productivity, and
accuracy of office and installation personnel and functions.
7. Hire, train, and supervise the Operations Administrators to ensure that office, clerical, banking, and report functions are completed in accordance with established procedures.
8. Hire, train, supervise, and collaborate with the Installation managers to ensure that revenue and labor is planned, monthly projections are accurate, and jobs are being installed profitable and in accordance with company guidelines.
9. Oversee job and service scheduling to ensure that they are being done in a timely manner.
10. Ensure that customer experience protacols are being achieved, customer review’s are being captured per our KPIs, and customer rating are being achieved per our KPIs.
11. Oversee and execute Apex’s Digital Flipside protocols.
12. Preform Job Costing: Oversee the job review process to determine budget margin and final-cost all jobs at completion to confirm actual margin. Review actual vs budget variances in the Job Report to determine if expected margin was achieved, and why or why not.
13. Function as a liaison between the branch and all other Corporate Divisions, Departments, and Operations.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
This position has access to confidential and sensitive corporate and personal information, especially in the areas of costs, corporate affairs, and proprietary information and so will be required to sign the appropriate Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreement.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATION:
1. Achieve EBITDA % of at least 12%, or ahead of forecast
2. Achieve a Gross Profit % of at least 45%
3. Maintain an annual revenue growth of 15% or ahead of forecast
4. Maintain a customer satisfaction ranking of 90%
Qualifications:Detail and goal-oriented person with demonstrated canvassing and sales success. Prior experience building a team and culture both attractive to talent and focused on performance. Should have at least ten years’ experience managing in a canvassing and/or sales environment. Prior experience in the Executive Sales partner role or equivalent in another business is key.
KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience recruiting, developing, and managing high performance teams and creating a culture focused on growth mindset, trust, collaboration, and accountability for results
- General management and sales leadership experience with some P&L responsibilities
- Must have good working knowledge of construction and operations/sales management experience
- Excellent people, communication, and customer relations skills
- Show high levels of passion for our industry and our Flipside Marketing strategy
- Data and process driven, understands basic accounting principles, and have experience developing and implementing budgets and forecasts
- Competent in the use of technology and able to function proficiently with Excel, iphone/ipad, and in our IT systems
- Knowledge of the window and remodeling industry, canvassing, and in-home sales is a major plus
- Opening or assisting in opening new retail locations a plus
