Maintenance Technician Job Profile

As a Maintenance Technician, you will partner with the Maintenance Director in creating a safe and vibrant living environment for our residents. Your expertise will make a tangible difference as you focus on:

• Facility Management: Conduct daily walkthroughs, identifying and promptly addressing malfunctions for repair.
• Skilled Maintenance Solutions: Provide skilled attention to maintenance problems and assigned service requests, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Equipment Troubleshooting: Showcase your ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
• Expense Control: Collaborate with the Maintenance Director in managing parts expenses and reviewing costs before purchases.
• Preventive Care: Assist in coordinating preventative maintenance, adhering to specific schedules and protocols.
• Record Keeping: Maintain essential records, data, and paperwork with precision.
• Resident-Centric Service: Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and responsiveness.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Comply with all safety regulations and use chemicals safely.

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements

• Experience: At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment.
• Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Emergency Response: Ability to act quickly and remain composed in emergencies.
• Certifications or Licenses: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
