Position Details

• Role: Accounts Payable Specialist
• Location: Hybrid schedule, with 3 days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) in Waltham, MA
• Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare weekly payment runs, including ACH, wires, and checks.
• Assist with month-end closing by providing AP reports and supporting documentation.
• Maintain vendor records, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (specific system knowledge is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
