We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Cycle Accounts Payable and Payroll Benefits Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, as well as overseeing payroll and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, extensive experience with accounts payable and payroll processing, and proficiency in Excel. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.
Process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Reconcile accounts payable and payroll accounts, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports related to accounts payable, payroll, and benefits.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices and expense reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and payroll tax laws, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and analyses, as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, or a similar finance/accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and payroll processing systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with benefits administration is a plus.
