Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Manager will report to the Director of Finance and oversee the recording and payment of expenditures and liabilities for the organization and its affiliated entities. This includes managing accounts payable for approximately $25+MM in annual expenses and ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable processes and payments for vendors, employees, and affiliated entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of expenditures and liabilities.
- Collaborate with internal departments and the finance team to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
- Establish routines for handling cash transactions efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Business.
- 3-5 years of experience, with a preference for disbursements/accounts payable processing.
- Familiarity with financial software such as Financial Edge, banking systems, purchasing cards, and Concur is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in nonprofit financial processes is preferred.
