Accounts Payable Manager

Wedgewood Building Company is currently looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Manager to join their innovative and dedicated construction team in Carmel, Indiana. Wedgewood specializes in building the finest custom homes in the Indianapolis area, and prides itself in treating its customers to an intimate and exciting building experience. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for accounts payable functions as well as administrative tasks to assist the office.

- Pay: $55,000 – $60,000/year, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8 AM – 5 PM
- In office, potential for hybrid
The right candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- At least 2 years of accounts payable (or receivable) experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Knowledge of residential construction is a plus
- Experience with Quickbooks and integration with other software
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Our Accounts Payable Manager will:
- Oversee accounts payable function- including entering invoices, paying vendors and working with construction team members
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Work with field personnel on vendor questions and issues
- Record monthly journal entries to support accounting
- Mail collection
- Order and monitor office supplies
- Coordinate copier and IT needs
- Assist Director of Operations as needed, including filing and obtaining permits, and providing support to field personnel
