Animal Care Worker

Operate Cage Washers. Operate mechanical cage washing equipment. Prepare clean cages for autoclaving to include food, bedding, water bottles and appropriate covering. Husbandry: Provide food and water according to schedule and protocols. Transfer animals from soiled to clean enclosures, protecting individual identity of animals. Handle and restrain animals. Remove and dispose of waste materials. Receive and stock feed and bedding. Maintain complete and accurate room records.
