As an Angiography Technologist, you are called upon everyday to apply your skills in medical imaging to provide exceptional patient care in order to identify and begin the process to improve the health of our community members in need. Imagine performing this critical work and interesting caseload at our highly regarded Good Samaritan Medical Center in the heart of beautiful downtown Portland, OR.
Your skills as an Angiography Technologist will help to fulfill that goal. As you provide imaging procedures according to physician’s orders, you will be extending professional, expert care to the patients we serve.
Below are the respective 2024 pay ranges for the progressive experience levels:
- Tech Level I: $44.57 min. to $63.74 max.
- Tech Level II: $46.81 min. to $66.94 max.
- Tech Level III: $49.15 min. to $70.28 max.

- Base Wage: $44.57 - $70.28 per hour, with consideration to related work experience and internal equity
- Shift Differential: evening - $2.50 /hr, night - $4.30 /hr, weekend - $3.00 /hr

Responsibilities:Angiography Technologists perform imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment.
Angiography, Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology Technologists provide the highest quality care using the most advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment in our Cardiovascular and Hybrid labs located at each Legacy site.
Qualifications:Education:
Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
Experience:
Level I - Current applicable state LRT license as you continue toward your ARRT-R registry. Current American Heart Association BLS is also required.
Level II - 1-year of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization, ACLS, BLS, applicable state LRT and ARRT-R required.
Level III - 2-years previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization is required. You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab x-ray table equipment and demonstrate knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory.
Current applicable state LRT, ARRT-R, and ACLS is required. CI, VI is preferred. Current American Heart Association BLS is also required.
