Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is currently seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the leadership team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL which is 30 minutes north of Tampa.This is a Vice Chief / Assistant Facility Medical Director (AFMD) position that will work collaboratively with the Facility Medical Director and APP leadership.
Ideal candidate will be highly skilled in communication, relationship building, and be able to represent the Anesthesia department as a true, collaborative partner within the organization. Responsibilities include assuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery and outcomes and maintaining an environment that supports employee satisfaction and retention. Previous leadership experience desired but not required.
Program is experiencing exciting growth and offers an outstanding culture. The expanded model and newly added OB nighthawk APPs support work/life balance for our Physicians and optimize our ability to provide excellent patient care.
Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- Staffing model of 8 Anesthesiologists and 26 AAs covering 12 Sites of service. Medical Direction of CAAs.
- Diverse mix of cases including General Surgery, Ortho, Endo, GYN, Vascular, OB, and EP, Spine, etc. No Trauma. No Cardiac.
- Average work week is 40-50 hours plus in-house overnight call 1:8, 3p - 7a. Post call day off.
- Dedicated CAA stays In-house and covers OB, Monday- Sunday, 8p-8a. 3 person team on a 3 week rotation
