Responsibilities:
· Use advanced Android engineering skills and knowledge to solve complex development problems and achieve engineering goals
· Interact with multiple cross-functional teams (UX, Backend, DevOps, QA, and other application teams and developers) to achieve goals
· Work with a Scrum and Agile oriented team
· Collaborate into developing and polishing security-related Android frameworks, libraries, and applications that will be used by millions of customers
· Analyze code bases from other teams, understand their architecture and integrate new code following the existing principles
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
· Mentoring Jr developers on the team
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication skills
· Possess the ability to rapidly grasp new technologies, concepts, and abstractions and apply them in a meaningful way
· Strong experience in Kotlin latest versions
· Experience deploying Android applications with minimum/latest target deployment
· Experience with Android Studio latest versions
· Understanding of Android push notifications and interacting with FCM and SNS
· Strong experience with Git
· Understanding of how an API works, how to test it and how to report a problem in it to the backend team
· Understanding of API authentication and OAuth flows
· Strong experience in identifying and troubleshooting Android bugs and crashes
· Great design and problem-solving skills
· Experience, ability and passion for building and architecting robust Android frameworks/apps
· Ability to explain a problem and provide a potential solution
· Adaptable, proactive and driven to take ownership
· Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in technology, computer science, or security field
· 8 – 10 years of related experience
· Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
· Must be able to work during EST working hours and sometimes outside of schedule as necessary
