Responsibilities:
1. Design and build scalable and robust analytical systems using Python.
2. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
3. Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
4. Translate complex datasets into understandable and actionable insights for business stakeholders.
5. Utilize machine learning algorithms to predict trends and optimize business outcomes.
6. Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data.
7. Continually monitor the performance of analytical systems and make adjustments as necessary.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our analytical systems are cutting-edge.
9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in Python is a must. Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.
4. Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
5. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. A continuous learning mindset and the ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
9. Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
10. Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
