UC Health is hiring a Full Time Analyst for the System Strategic Finance Department
This position will provide analytic support to System Strategic Finance, reporting to the manager of Strategic Finance. Primary areas of focus include system-wide forecast development, capital planning, and long-term financial planning. This position also includes Funds Flow preparation, analysis, and forecasting. The position will also provide strategic planning support which includes pro-forma and business plan development and financial analysis to system-wide strategic initiatives. This position will work with many different leaders within the organization and have excellent communication, analytical, planning, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree required in Finance or Accounting | Minimum of three years of experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Use of Excel worksheets and other financial planning software and experienced in forecasting and budgeting, capital allocation, business planning, return and complex analytics and pro-forma development including investment return analysis.
• Self-starter with excellent communication, multi-tasking, problem solving, organization, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities
System-wide capital analytics:
- Assist with the development and implementation of a five-to-ten-year capital allocation plan.
- Review current Oracle Planning operations and implement improvement and changes as needed.
- Analyze quarterly strategic and routine capital requests and send approved projects to PPM.
- Create and provide any additional reporting for Capital Committee meetings.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to operators and site teams.
System-wide rolling forecast analytics:
- Assist with the development and implementation of a 36-month rolling forecast.
- Review current Oracle Planning operations and implement improvement and changes as needed.
- EPBSC System Admin functions including interfacing actuals from ERP, rolling the system forward for forecasting updates, maintaining access rights, and managing CoA updates.
- Review and maintain all Oracle Planning reporting. Partner with MCS team to create any new reporting as needed.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to operators and site teams.
- Create and manage intercompany eliminations.
Funds flow preparation and analysis:
- Preparation of monthly Funds Flow payment files and load files to Oracle ERP.
- Develop and maintain the Funds Flow forecast. Prepare and enter forecast updates for both revenue and expense sides of Funds Flow transaction.
- Create Funds Flow agenda for bi-monthly meetings and run the Funds Flow Committee meetings.
- Communicate and answer any questions from the EDBAs or site teams related to the Funds Flow forecast and payments.
- Develop, evaluate, and submit the Vizient Funds Flow benchmark submission.
Valuation, financial analysis, and strategic return support analysis:
- Provide strategic planning support which includes pro-forma and business plan development and financial analysis to system-wide strategic initiatives.
- Partner with operations to evaluate facets outside of normal operations that need to be included in the long-term financial plan model.
- Assist in the lookback process and recommend revisions to the forecast if needed.
- Other strategic financial analysis assignments as necessary
