Overview:The primary role of the Analyst, Procurement is to support the various procurement processes as it relates to Accounting operations that include the areas of purchasing, receiving, negotiations, testing and help desk ticket management.
Responsibilities
Conduct tests in Oracle Procurement modules or on any new interface as necessary
Monitor and review Purchase Requisition issues (via help desk tickets)
Define functional training requirements and accordingly develop training materials
Run reporting to validate all daily transaction activity feeds into Oracle
Develop innovative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness and explore logistics solutions for customers and suppliers
Perform monthly identification and reconciliation of all outstanding orders and non-receipts with the accounting department
Provide recommendations on all procurement related issues, plans, reports, trainings, and metrics
Provide education and training to internal team members on procurement policies and best practices
Prepare monthly reports on Purchasing metrics and any ad-hoc reporting as required
Requires heavy phone contact with PDS offices and PDS vendors
Implement office procedures to improve efficiency of workflow, create “team” environment and ensure office satisfaction
Satisfactorily complete all job duties assigned that pertain to your position within 90 days of accepting this position
Participate in meetings as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field, in lieu of degree 3+ years experience in related field
Strong computer and data entry skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Pivot Tables
3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company

Commitment to achieving predetermined goals and deadlines while working within the policies of the Accounting Dept
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Ability to draw conclusions and make independent decisions with limited information
Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business community

Problem solving skills to gather & analyze information in order to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
Analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information. Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
Actively share ideas in a constructive and positive manner by listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others

Salary Information:$66,560.00-$99,506.00 / Annually
