Job DescriptionThe HO (Home Office) International Media team acts as the center of media excellence for the studio. They are directly involved across all international media strategy, planning, execution, innovation, experimentation, data science and budget management for all theatrical releases across both Universal and Focus Features.
Big ideas only comes to life when you know how to collaborate – we partner closely across each function of our studio’s marketing department – research, business intelligence, creative, brand, integrated marketing, advanced analytics….to name a few.
Our team is LA based. We are looking for an Analyst who is passionate about paid advertising/media, movies and creative and is eager to work in the fast paced and exciting world of International Marketing. Working alongside the best of the best, the Analyst, International Media will work hand-in-hand with the team on overall campaign and planning needs which include drafting briefs and strategies, media campaign set up, communication with local markets, monitor and conduct campaign analysis.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support with international central media pre-/planning needs (Linear, Digital, Social & OOH)
- Assist in the process of building movie directives for the markets, the agencies and the cross-functional teams
- Work with Media Managers and Sr. Analyst to review and provide feedback on the initial central media plans to ensure specific parameters are met e.g., flighting, demos, targeting, reach, measurement, SOV, added value, etc.
- Act as a liaison between internal creative and research teams to project manage and QA creative asset needs for partner/agency delivery
- Work closely with the finance team and the Media Agency team to keep track of plan approvals for PO submissions
- Assist during the program management and execution, coordinate media launch processes and custom media programs in partnership with International Marketing, Regional Teams and Media Agency
- Monitor live confirmations, Q&A and general live campaign management
- Assist the Media Managers and Sr. Analyst with weekly media performance optimizations during the live campaign
- Ensure all media reports from the agency for the international campaigns are collected, including the revision of results
- Conduct a thorough review of campaign data and share the results with key stakeholders providing relevant insights and analysis
- Assist Manager in preparing media plan analysis and reports as needed, e.g., locating historical figures for ad hoc analysis, annual commitment with regional channels and partners, centralized and local media plans
- Ensure international media summaries are up to date and provides support with building decks for filmmaker meetings and Sr. Management
- College degree required
- 1+ years of experience
- Comfortable with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint)

Salary range: $62,000.00 - $78,000.00 (not bonus eligible)
