Analyst II, Revenue Cycle

Full Time (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm)

Fort Myers, FL

The Revenue Cycle Analyst supports all reporting, analysis, and financial planning efforts of the company. S/he will use billing/practice management, financial, and other company systems to create and run reports on revenue cycle performance and financial metrics. These reports will be used by the position to analyze the information to draw out any business recommendations. S/he will communicate their findings to management in a way that is concise and in an actionable form. S/he must be able to demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver information as well as tailor communicate successfully to a variety of people under that person's or group's level of revenue cycle processes.

Hybrid Role - this role requires 90 days onsite. The flexibility of this hybrid role is based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Management reports and analyses are completed weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and on an ad-hoc basis. These reports include but are not limited to, Aged AR Reporting, Denial Trending reports, Payer Yield Analysis, Charge Lag trending reports, TOS Collection trending reports, and Payment Mismatch reports.
• Ensure that all reports, data models, and raw data storage are maintained accurately and on time.
• Analyze financial information from different parts of the organization and create revenue/expense analyses, reports, and presentations.
• Develop and implement new standardized reporting and analysis requirements and procedures across the business.
• Update the financial model that predicts variable forecasting with monthly actual results and prepare trend and sensitivity analysis based on YTD actual results, previous historical information, or new projection information to provide financial and cash flow forecasts.
• Act as the point of contact for report requests from the field and physician offices.
• Identify, track, and report critical business drivers and key performance indicators.
• Participate in a project team environment to provide a financial perspective.

MPG Leadership may request additional reporting, analytical, or financial tasks to be performed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Revenue Cycle experience in a Healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Google Data Analytics and/or SQL Certification, Tableau, Power BI and MIcrosoft Office

• Extensive SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases 4+ years of related experience required.
• Must have strong communication skills and be able to present to individual and group settings.

• Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
