This position will be supporting the accounting team. Researches, generates, and interprets financial analysis for sales and S&OP operations as directed. Plant Financial Statement analysis and budget cycle inputs and monitoring. Under limited supervision researches and provides financial analyses to assess the impact of transactions, business initiatives and long-term projects. Works collaboratively within the organization to gather data for analysis and presents to internal stakeholders.

1. Analyzes actuals sales and operating results and identifies key financial and operating issues to be addressed; quantifies actual results versus forecast, budget and prior year.
2. Perform data analysis insights, including merging data from multiple sources, running queries on existing data and identifying trends.
3. Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial Budgets and Forecasts and assesses variances.
4. Gather information utilized by Sales and operations and FP&A for the Budget and Forecast.
5. Merges data from multiple sources, runs queries on existing data and identifies trends.
6. Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions.
7. Prepares weekly/monthly PowerPoint presentations (Charting and Graphing) to deliver insights.
8. Assists in building new reports in existing and new systems and training new users on BI reporting platform.
9. Works collaboratively within the organization and the ERP/reporting systems to gather data for analysis.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a must.
• Experience working with reporting systems and large amounts of data a plus (BI platforms like DOMO and/or Planful).
• Knowledge of financial reporting, including GAAP reporting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Consistently interact with internal customers in a professional manner. 
• Skilled in presenting information or ideas concisely, accurately, and clearly verbally and in writing.
• Ability to self-motivate and self-direct, with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to quickly acquire and master new and complex technical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment.
• Ability to grasp new ideas, complete tasks with minimal supervision, prioritize, organize, or re-organize work, and manage time efficiently and effectively.
