Analyst - BCS

BCS Allegient has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to join our growing team supporting the Program Management Office for multiple stakeholders. • The role is hybrid (mostly remote) and must be located in the Pittsburgh, PA, or Morgantown, WV area
• The role must be flexible to work outside normal business hours with some occasional evening or weekend availability (during invoicing cycles)

Responsibilities

• Performs professional accounting tasks including but not limited to entering transactions, updating financial records, creating invoices, and vendor setup
• Examining financial documents and transactions to ensure compliance and rectify any discrepancies.
• Create financial data analysis, evaluate financial processing, and interpret accounting reports
• Verify or audit the accuracy of transactions recorded
• Participate in internal and external audits

• US citizenship
• BA degree in business, finance, or another applicable field
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge/experience in purchasing/procurement practices and requirements (preferred)
• Experience in accounting software/ERP and data entry (Costpoint is preferred)
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Exceptional communication and organization skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
