Analyst General/Engineering at Modis

Are you a skilled automotive technician with a knack for precision and a passion for working with cutting-edge vehicle systems? Were looking for a dedicated Analyst General/Engineering to join our team in Dearborn, MI (fully onsite). In this role, youll collaborate closely with our engineering teams, helping to maintain and improve vehicle systems while ensuring high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and thorough inspections to meet company standards and regulations.
• Efficiently manage work orders, diagnose vehicle issues, and make repairs using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Collect, document, and communicate vehicle data to engineering teams.
• Remove, replace, and install vehicle components, ensuring top-tier quality and attention to detail.
• Install and modify wiring and cables for various vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with engineers on new equipment installation, testing, and calibration, providing technical support and insights.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all vehicles, both inside and out.
• Keep meticulous records of maintenance, repairs, and installations using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Assist engineers with technical tasks and project execution, acting as a bridge between maintenance and engineering.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to foster team growth.
• Ensure a safe, organized work environment by following safety protocols.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, onsite position with occasional weekend shifts and overtime.
• Physical work in a garage setting, including bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
• Regular exposure to vehicle repair shop conditions (noise, dust, and odors).

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years as an automotive technician, specializing in vehicle maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in automotive diagnostic tools and a solid understanding of mechanical and electronic systems.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel for record-keeping and reporting.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in demanding conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $29-32/hour

Location: Dearborn, MI 48124 (Fully onsite)

Pay Details: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour
