Oracle EPM Financial Systems Analyst
Location: US - Remote
Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to work with Finance Stakeholders to maintain, design, develop, and/or customize Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management): FCCS, Planning and ARCS applications.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science or closely related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as financial systems analyst/administrator role
• Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud applications such as FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS, Narrative Reporting, and Smart View
• Understanding of FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, scenario modelling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, currency translations, and top-side adjustments
• Certifications in Oracle ERP Cloud or Fusion Financials preferred but not required.
Skills:
• Experience with EPM Development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, process designing, artifact development, testing, migration, and maintenance.
• Hands on experience with Groovy and Essbase calc scripts
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts and processes
• Designs and modifies application rules and configurations to facilitate business user needs
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment and in an individual contributor role depending upon organizational needs
• Configure the applications to support new and evolving business needs and requirements by mapping the current state to target state in a team environment involving cross-functional groups
• Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate, develop, setup, test and implement new functionality, business processes and procedures
• Configure, test, deploy and manage integrations, data load rules, dimensions, forms and reports across the suite of products
• Manage and improve security across supported applications
• Ensure audit procedures and controls are followed and recommend improvements to the audit control environment
• Analyze monthly application releases identifying new enhancements with high potential for business process improvement
• Test new releases and stay current on application changes
• Design and build custom reports using standard application functionality
• Administer system access
• Improve user adoption through training and mentoring
• Support other corporate systems as needed
