Position Summary:
The Analyst, Financial Analysis performs as an integral member of the Inmar Finance Team. The primary focus of the position is to create and/or maintain financial analysis and reporting that provides actionable analysis to drive business profitability and timely decision making.
Primary Accountabilities:
Operational (55%)
Assist Manager and other Finance team members in the preparation of the annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast updates as needed
Develops, maintains and produces monthly, quarterly or annual reports, as required and provides insights into the trends
Participate in forecasting activities.
Work closely with Finance Managers on a variety of projects to identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to drive savings in process and operational execution.
Manage business unit’s participation in the month-end close process.
Review monthly expenses and provide variance explanations.
Serve as backup for Financial Analyst to perform Remarketing cash receipts and payment reconciliations.
Update Visual Lease for changes in leases and process monthly rent payments.
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Analytics (45%)
Identifies and analyzes business problems and devises procedures and solutions to the problems.
Cost and profitability analysis to support Product Development, Operations, Client Services & Sales
Enhance reporting capabilities with greater depth and consistency in formats
Gather, analyze and summarize data for Ad-hoc reports requested by Manager or Director
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
Minimum of 2 years of work experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
Proficient with G-Suite and Microsoft Office
Expert using Excel and related tools
Experience with financial/accounting systems
