Job Title: Business Process Analyst
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: $35/hr. W2
Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or EAD Only
Job Description:
The candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze and draw conclusions on data and information. The candidate will possess three to five years of experience in the field of analysis. Responsible for developing strategies that support business need for efficient and effective use of best practices. Identify requirements, approach, solutions, costs, risks and options to address business need. Lead implementation activities of an initiative, application or feature set. Responsible for project documentation including definition, requirements, conversion, testing, implementation and training. Able to priorities initiatives by assessing business value for effort and develop options. Collaborates with vendor to understand product direction, release strategy, and timeframe. Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures and products.
Required Skills:
-Broad knowledge of project management, agile methodology and operational policies, procedures and practices.
-Experience evaluating & documenting processes.
-Ability to articulate in writing the steps/logic for an existing manual process, analytical thinking, organizational skills, ability -to grasp concepts and convert that information into documentation.
Desired Skills/Attributes:
-Ability to develop process flows; Experience working in MS Visio or other process documentation technology
-Knowledge of snag-it and other software to assist with capturing images of current process
-Experience working in in Agile Delivery mode
-Experience with Project Management tools (MS Project, Octane)
-Ability to communicate with business team an interpret requirements back to IT development teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
-Interface with process owners, including senior management, to understand business requirements and design solutions which improve workflow, increase efficiencies in cost and time, and reduce company risk.
-Assess potential projects by gathering or documenting the as is process
-Conduct thorough impact analysis and confirm ROI calculation before making recommendation to move forward with automation or not
-Document detailed requirements working with subject matter experts
-Coordinate the development process with developers and operations utilizing agile methodology and manage user acceptance approval
-Collaborate with Sr. Project Manager/Scrum Master on work assignments providing recommended solution or approach to complete the work
-Assume ownership and attempt to resolve issues of assigned work
-Provide support to move project through existing implementation gates
-Make important decisions based off of the automation of business process that can have significant impact on people, process and customers
