Scope:
This position is responsible for the end to end tracking of Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for the EPS network. It is also responsible for the creation, implementation and maintenance of sparing initiatives in support of all production deployments on the network.
Tasks
- Maintain database of Return Material Authorizations from the creation of an RMA through delivery of the replacement component
- Adhere to all procedures and process flows related to the maintenance of sparing inventory records for the EPS network and conduct annual true ups with all Markets to ensure accuracy
- Assist in the creation and implementation of sparing initiatives to support the expansion of the production network and platforms.
- Work across organizations to ensure that sparing needs are resolved to minimize customer impacting hardware failures.
- Maintain daily coordination with EPS L&S Warehouse staff to track shipped spares
- Assist with the management of service contracts to provide replacement equipment in non-spared locations within specified service-level time periods
- Assist with documenting requirements for improving the Asset Management processes and tools
- Assist with the testing and troubleshooting of Asset Management tools, data, and processes
- Generate weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
Must Have:
- Minimum of one year of experience working with inventory management tools and logistics
- Must exhibit expertise in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as with other document generation tools/utilities.
- Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational ability
Nice to Have:
- Experience with large scale IP network and ISP preferred
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL experience preferred.
- Experience working with incident and change management-ticketing tools preferred
- Training in IT Hardware Asset Management (CHAMP) preferred
