Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing business performance, delivering reporting to support business initiatives, and supporting forecasting and budget work for the region. Provides a variety of financial and performance data; maintains and updates financial models and plans. Provides financial analysis and projections to all levels within the organization in support of functional business objectives. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in SQL and Tableau. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Can translate data into consumable dashboards and storyboards for use by non-data-centric internal consumers. Responsible for developing SQL queries to research, analyze, and troubleshoot data. Will work with the development team to investigate and correct data deficiencies and errors.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Provides budget, forecast and variance analysis and related reports as needed.
• Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends.
• Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.
• Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly and annual reports.
• Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks.
• Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the Financial Analysts team. Interfaces with other department member on special projects or on an as-needed basis.
• Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Proficient Microsoft Excel

Familiar with Microsoft Excel, including advanced features such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data validation, and conditional formatting to analyze and manage complex datasets effectively.

Proficient SQL

Proficient in creating and optimizing SQL queries, including the use of joins and subqueries, to effectively combine and analyze data for business insights and decision-making. Adept at generating complex data reports via group by with aggregate functions. Can tune queries with execution hints without a negative impact on performance

             

Functions as a Tableau Developer to convert raw data into a usable user interface.

Uses parameters and input controls to give users the ability to alter certain values. Create parameters to calculate statistics and presents numbers, lines, bars etc.. Prep data for analysis Combines data sources using data blending.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $77,602.75 - $116,404.12
