Position Description:
Under general supervision of the General Manager, the Mixing Center Inventory Control Manager oversees the integrity of the inventory through mandated corporate programs and execution of full physical inventory. Provides leadership and manages the day-to-day activities of Inventory Coordinator(s). Ensures completion of scheduled cycle counts and maintains the integrity of the locator system with regards to bin maintenance per Company guidelines. Reconciles all pick exceptions and schedule of inventory cycle counts as needed as well as researches all ISO Discrepancies reported from serviced Distribution Centers. Champions, prepares, and executes the mixing center’s annual physical inventory.Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and manages the day-to-day activities for Inventory Coordinator(s) and Dispatcher; maintains staff by selecting, recruiting, training, and mentoring associates for development growth.
- Reviews any cycle count pending to ensure accurate inventory cycle counts and their approval entries are completed on the ORACLE system per corporate guidelines.
- Reviews daily emails to identify all Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASN’s) being sent by the operations team in order to submit to the appropriate ATD member/ U.S. custom parties.
- May oversee all dispatcher outbound discrepancies to ensure all distribution center and Hub & Spoke outbound schedules are met in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with international/ logistics team on all pending shipping discrepancies to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Researches and resolves all applicable ISO discrepancies filed by distribution centers in a timely manner; assists corporate accounts payable with any pending invoice discrepancies for proper payment resolution.
- Maintain the integrity of the locator system in which the product (tires, wheels, accessories, equipment etc.) is physically and systematically located in the mixing center; reconciles all pick exceptions as needed.
- Collaborates with local management in assuring warehouse associates are compliant with all inventory procedures; champion’s safe working conditions and monitors inventory coordinators proper use of power industrial equipment to ensure safe work practices.
- Ensures the mixing center RTS and adjustment processes are in compliance with company policies; tracks inventory flow to comply with corporate goals of turns per year; works closely with Supply Chain in the disposition of excess inventory as needed.
- Champions, prepares, and execute the mixing center’s annual physical inventory.
- Assist in the recall or product withdrawal of vendor inventory when directed by appropriate ATD parties.
- Any other applicable duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Experience(s) that Best Prepares You:
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required; college degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory control; prefer experience with Warehouse Management systems

- Ability to calculate figures, prepare various reporting via excel and other similar tools.
