Work Assignment:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Auburn Hills office three times per week, at minimum.
Position Summary:
Role leads the USA HRBP team and will define and drive strategies and plans for the HR organization. The Senior HR Manager will provide direction and oversight to ensure delivery of HR programs and services which includes talent acquisition, performance, talent management, and total rewards:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manages all HR responsibilities within USA and partners with leaders to support recruiting, immigration, performance management, talent management, compensation and benefit.
- Creates a positive HR experience for employees and leaders by addressing questions, issues and conflict resolution.
- Recommends new approaches and procedures to achieve standardizations and efficiencies in HR operations.
- Ensures compliance training and compliance matters are addressed in timely manner.
- Taking care of employee data in payroll and HRIS systems, in collaboration with HRIS, Compensation & Payroll team
- Advises and directs management on all human resource related matters including: organization development and design, compensation, staffing, benefits, policies, procedures, etc.
- Directs and managers staffing activities, including recruitment, placement, orientation, transfer, promotion, and termination of personnel. May counsel and direct employees, supervisors, and executives on policy and resolution of problems.
- Administer the use of all external sources of contract and direct personnel. Responsible for selection of staffing firm, negotiation of rates, coordination of interviews and candidate selection.
- Supports preparation of annual salary plan by department heads and advises them regarding salary administration guidelines and objectives. Reviews salary plans and where appropriate, recommends changes to better achieve objectives and to correct inequities.
- Advise Supervisors of Performance Review and Development Plan and counsels supervisory employees on their preparation and utilization.
- Compiles data for new and existing employees and files annual government Reports.
- Manages health & safety, worker’s compensation and internal investigation issues for a site or sites.
- Conducts required safety training for facility.
- Tracks data and files annual Safety & Environment Reports.
- Responsible for the coordination of all corporate relocations including selection of moving company and negotiation of rates, while ensuring compliance to the KSS relocation standards.
- Manages qualification certifications within human resource area and directs training and the tracking of training.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related area is required.
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of HR experience in the areas listed above is required
