Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Center Director

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is excited to partner with a leading regional health system in Abilene, TX to identify a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to lead their Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated nursing leader to oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of a thriving ASC.

About the Role:

The ASC Director will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight of all aspects of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. This includes:

• Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Quality & Safety: Implement and maintain quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
• Financial Performance: Manage the ASC budget and contribute to financial planning and analysis.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) (may be waived by VP of Nursing)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• NE-BC certification (required)
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery setting
• Strong understanding of ASC operations, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement principles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
