Position Overview:
As a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of Medical Accounts Receivable Experience (Experience with nEMT ambulance or ambulance billing is a plus)
Strong technical and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Outlook, MS Office, and web applications. Experience with Mediroutes and Zoll Billing Software is advantageous.
High-School Graduate or Equivalent
Thorough knowledge of tools utilized within the healthcare industry, as well as audits
Ability to interpret documents, medical records, and other documentation related to medical claims
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to identify and resolve trends within your workflow
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire medical billing process with accuracy and efficiency
Communicate and collaborate effectively with other managers and team members to meet account expectations
Collaborate with all departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency
Deliver timely required reports to management
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws
Assist with any other projects as assigned by leadership
