5th Generation: Adam Mueller and Venae Watts
The current owners, Venae and Adam, grew up in the business, obsessing over butter and cheese, like the 4 generations before them. While they have put their own spin on things, the process of making butter and cheese hasn't changed. Likewise, they have set the business up for success by raising 12 members of the 6th generation.

Job Summary
Process Tech I is responsible for having mechanical skills to operate butter equipment, ensure recipe accuracy, GMP policy adherence, testing, and quality of butter production. Process Tech I is responsible for correct materials or tools procedures, and cleaning equipment and work area.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED)
2+ Years experience working in a mechanical field
Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school (for example, in agriculture or natural resources, computer services, personal or culinary services, engineering technologies, healthcare, construction trades, mechanic and repair technologies, or precision production)
Technical Skills
Equipment Maintenance- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Operation and Control- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Operations Monitoring- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Quality Control Analysis- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Repairing- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
Technology Design- Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs.
Troubleshooting- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Primary Job Duties
Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
Help production workers by performing duties of less skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.
Start machines or equipment to begin production processes.
Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting or wrapping.
Remove products, machine attachments, or waste material from machines.
Pack and store materials and products.
Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks.
