JOB PURPOSE:This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and professionalism. We prefer the applicant to be a mature, quick learner with good judgment, excellent writing skills, and some experience working in an office setting.
Must be available to work starting in Spring Semester (January) and continue through end of June, 2025, with opportunity for continuation, .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Using the Slate database to process registrations
- Assist the Administrative Specialist with general clerical duties, answering phones, greeting guests, working on mass mailings using mail merge
- Calling alumni to encourage participation at events
- Scanning yearbooks
- Designing PowerPoint slideshows for reunions
- Event preparation support and assisting at events
- Researching, communicating with constituents, updating web pages
- Creating and updating spreadsheets
- Other projects for office staff depending on the skills and talents of the applicant.
- Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.
- 4-7 hours per week between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday during the Spring semester.
- additional hours (15-35 per week) available May thru August with a requirement to work Alumni weekend June 26th - 29th.
- $15.95 per hour
- Federal or L&C Work Study required
