Title: Alternative Investments Call Service Representative
Location: 1 ny plaza, new york city
Remote/Hybrid/Onsite: Hybrid
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months
Rate: $26/hr W2
- Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to high profile Financial Advisors and their support staff regarding Alternative Investment transactions, including subscriptions, transfers, redemptions, and document revisions/amendments
- Field and document anywhere from 20-50 phone calls per day on the Brokerage Service Network
- Maintain detailed call log documentation utilizing Salesforce CRM software
- Remain vigilant on daily scheduled activates
- Partner with various teams within Brokerage Client Solutions & Investment Solutions organizations such as Reg D, Transactional Processing, Product Management, Product Development, Platform Solutions etc.
- Effectively comprehend and communicate nuanced complications surrounding Alternative Investment products.
- Engage in AD Hoc projects that supports various Alternative Investment Operations teams.
- Provide World Class Service Financial Advisors and their support staff.
- Participate in continuous educational training sessions to maintain knowledge of Alternative Investment products and systems.
- Follow professional telephone etiquette on all calls
- Handle interactions in a professional manner to maintain caller satisfaction
- Ensure high service quality during interactions on inbound/outbound calls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of Alternative Investment products such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Funds, Managed Future Funds and Exchange Funds etc.
- Capacity to maintain professionalism through adverse situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent reading comprehension skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
- Experience in Wealth Management is a plus
- Experience with Customer Service is a plus
- Experience Salesforce CRM software is a plus
- Passed SIE Exam is a plus
- Ability to efficiently and effectively work in a remote environment
